Each candle is luxuriously scented and comes in a beautiful 14 ounce size or a 3 ounce glass votive. The 14 ounce has an approximate burn time of 100 hours. It is elaborately packaged in a sheer organza bag that enhances the embellished label. The 3 ounce has a burn time of 15 – 20 hours. We also have a gift box of 6 votives. Our candles are the perfect present for anyone.

After a profound car accident, circa 2006, Syrisa Soy Candles was born. I originally started this soy candle line from my apartment near Old Town Pasadena. Everyone who knew me was not surprised about this business idea as my place always had candles burning. My old roomie was more than understanding with this candle passion as our place became a makeshift candle factory for many months, with lots of room for trial and error. Meanwhile, I learned everything I could about candle making. My sweet boyfriend at the time and I scoured every store for affordable glass containers to pour the candles into.

I learned to perfect these beautiful candles over lots of late nights, chai & melodic music to keep me going. The signature logo design was inspired by a silkscreen that I saw on a trip to Budapest, Hungary. In time, I was able to hire a couple of part-time assistants to help with this budding passion which turned into a business. Many of late nights were spent side by side with my graphic artists in LA designing every fine detail that goes into a candle.

At that time, Syrisa Soy Candles became quite popular just by word of mouth. I was a young, small business person competing with all of the up & coming soy candle makers. So many positive things came out of it. Soon enough, my line was being sold in countless boutiques, high end stores and featured on TV. Brand collabs also followed. During this time, I had a full-time job in rehab/healthcare - easily working around the clock. The same goes today.

Fast forward to 2025, our luxe candles are made in San Diego, CA. These special candles are small batch, custom mixed using premium cold pressed essential & botanical oils used, soy wax and burn 2-3 times longer than paraffin candles.
